Walking path - between the city and the villages

Damjana Zaviršek Hudnik, Špela Nardoni Kovač / 2014
LOCATION: Soseska Ruski car, Savlje, Kleče, Ježica

To show the residents of the Ruski car neighbourhood the potential of living on the outskirts of Ljubljana, the existing walking paths from the neighbourhood into the nearby open landscape and to the old villages were marked. Paths lead to the farms in Savlje, Kleče and Ježica where locally grown vegetables and other food products can be bought. Signs on the sidewalks and information boards in the centre of the neighbourhood, near the local school and kindergarten point out the path and provide the basic information.
