Kindergarten Kamnitnik

Kindergarten Kamnitnik is built in the place of an old military post, at the foot of Kamnitnik hill in Škofja Loka. The project is the result of a thought process, intended to improve the space, allow for better functional use and create an ambiental experience. The new building consists of simple volumes, some of them inset or offset, with playground terraces on both floors. The linear design is joined with a multi-purpose hall, placed between the kindergarten building and the hill. The roof of the hall extends into the terrain, which provides an external playground and a direct connection to the hill for the whole upper floor.
