During the renovation of the Tomos workers’ residence, architects have formed seven new residential typologies from the previous 100 studios. By combining small studios, 37 new apartments were created. The renovation was based on the new longitudinal terraces with folding blinds, which connect the existing balconies on the south facade. The central hallway between the apartments from the 4th to 10th floor was moved to the north facade, forming an outdoor porch that serves as a semi-private terrace.
