Flat on Zarnikova Street
Dans arhitekti / 2011
The restored flat retains the characteristics of the apartment building from the 1930s, but features clever, inventive design that signals its functional modernity. The rooms remained big, with the lofty ceilings characteristic of houses of the bourgeoisie raised to uncover the original ceiling construction. New, custom-made furniture leans against the old walls. The heart of the flat is the kitchen, a wooden cube that hides a pantry and a huge modern dresser.
