Apartment RT

id: doma / 2012

This apartment in the complex and demanding historic setting in the old town of Ljubljana features a modern, simple and clutter-free concept. The old architectural elements which were preserved, such as the carved ceiling, lime-covered walls, doors and windows, create a play of contrasts between old and new, fine and harsh, straight and curved lines. This architectural intervention allows for a metropolitan-style life against the backdrop of a medieval apartment.
