Memorial at Kopišče

In 2014, Kamnik municipality issued a tender to design a memorial to the victims of post-war massacres. The client’s desire was a chapel-type memorial to honour victims of different religions. We decided on a shrine, a common element of the Slovenian countryside, where a religious ceremony can take place. The memorial blends easily with the background of birch wood and the rocky mountains.
