House Smrekar
Atelje Aleksandra s.p. / 2015
The farm in the centre of the village comprises three buildings. A decaying shed was transformed into a pub, which emphasizes the simple rural architecture through a modern approach. Some original wooden features were preserved, as well as three stone walls and the wooden roofing. A service building was attached, housing a kitchen, a food processing room and a toilet. Both buildings are connected with a glazed corridor. The third building, the original house with a stable, was substituted for tourist accommodation, including an apartment and three single rooms.
