Annex to Biotechnical Faculty

LOCATION: Rožna dolina, Cesta VIII/34, 1000 Ljubljana
The new wooden annex of the Department of wood science and technology of the Biotechnical Faculty houses teaching and research facilities. The building measures are 40 m x 13,5 m. The teachers’ offices are located on the southeastern side, while students’ spaces are situated on the northwestern side. Both are separated by a corridor. The construction is made of cross laminated timber panels. The corridor and the offices feature wooden walls, and the roof base is also made of wood. The facade is made of thermally modified wood with a set of decorative wooden pillars in front of it.
