Renovation of Optiweb offices
Optiweb, a young company from Škofja Loka, faced space shortages due to rapid growth. They expanded into an adjacent office building, which needed a thorough renovation. The challenge was to provide both the necessary interaction between different departments and the quiet corners for concentrated work in an open floor plan. The existing floor plan is divided into individual sections, which can be separated by acoustic partitions if necessary. The existing concrete cassette ceiling is deliberately untreated due to its low height and the required distribution of installations, and it features suspended acoustic panels that can also be flexibly repositioned. The open floor plan is complemented by spaces as telephone booths, a relaxation room and the main ‘living room’ of the business, which has a kitchenette and an event space that can accommodate up to 60 people.
