Renovation of urban interiors
Matic Gselman, Daniela Bajc, Saša Jagrič, Eva Moharič, Simona Rošer / 2012
The initiative Living courtyards triggered the design of three apartments, located in a long abandoned residential building, to be used by visiting artists. The renovation was carried out by third year students of architecture of the University of Maribor. The basic idea was to strip the rooms of all the layers added in the past. This brought to light magnificent architecture of a typical town house with high ceilings, beautiful arches and solid wooden floors.
