Villa renovation in Bežigrad

Kubusarhitektura / 2010

This villa in Ljubljana was commissioned by the sculptor Boris Kalin in the 1930s and was designed by the architect Vinko Glanz. The semi-basement used to be the sculptor’s studio, the first floor was occupied by the living quarters and a large terrace, and the upper floor by bedrooms. After several renovations the house still retains its charm with two modern, independent living units and an architect’s studio.
