Želimlje cemetery and chapel
Sim On / 2013
The funeral space is situated in the centre of the cemetery, with the chapel in the midst. A slope connects the old and the new plateau. A modest and simple monolithic building resembles the figurative imagery of the rest of the cemetery. Its construction is made of wood, which is a local material, while the copper wrap and the compact cement core represent eternity and firmness.
