Holiday home in Kolomban

The existent single floor cottage, a typical Italian colonial home, did not respond to the needs of the new owners, who solved the problem by adding another floor and enlarging slightly the original floor plan. The three resulting residential units share a living and working space and a kitchen. From the common working space, a staircase leads to the roof terrace. Both first floor bedrooms take advantage of the additional space under the reclining roof.
