Pavilion- in between
monochrome arhitekti / 2017
The concept of a pavilion was designed as a neutral uniform volume, a wooden implant, which presents the extension of a village street through an existing facility. The pavilion connects two existing private houses from different time periods (from the 1980s and 1990s) in the context of local / regional, rural / modern / contemporary.
Its contemporary wooden design is also related to the local village architecture. It functions not only as an indoor hallway, offering protection from the weather, but also as a space for socializing and relaxing.
