Park of rest and reflection

This spatial installation was designed to commemorate the centenary of the battles of the Isonzo and the 160th anniversary of General Boroević’s birth. The geometric shape is reminiscent of the harshness of war. The metal wall dematerializes into the railings of the boardwalk and brings us closer to the pine wood. There is no way forward: the boardwalk leads nowhere, just as the war. The circuit brings us back to the starting point where we descend on the optimistic green grass and decide for ourselves how to proceed.
