Central building at Nordic centre Planica

Stvar d.o.o. / 2015
LOCATION: Rateče - Planica

The central building of Nordic centre Planica is the core of ski jumping and cross country activities. The three-level multi-purpose hall, which is partially embedded in the terrain, features a ski stadium and a football field on the roof, while the concentric design of the visible part combines natural and cultural elements of the surrounding space. The building houses a vertical and a horizontal wind tunnel on the entry level, an interactive exhibition on the upper levels and a pavilion on top.
