Pedestrian and bicycle bridge

Jože Jaki, Jože Marinko, Darko Plevnik, Isabella Tsiolis, Arhiteka d.o.o. / 2015

The bridge spans between a footpath along the river Krka and a primary school on the opposite side. On the right bank, the bridge is transformed in a path. Its stark steel supports are in contrast with the gentle lines of the embankment trail. The straight elements of the bridge with their occasional bends create resting spaces, while rock-like wooden structures in the centre of the bridge resemble primitive river crossings and provide a place for sitting.
