Lobby renovation of the Oton Župančič Library

The existing design of the Oton Župančič Library is based on an open-plan floor plan in which individual functional parts of the library are located. One of the most important parts of it is the lobby. The new design is composed with a desire for clarity, readability and intuitive movement. The new countertop element is designed as a flexible modular unit with intermediate accentuated oak wood divisions that continue into the workplace partitions.
