Slovene architecture
house LHM
Studio7 / 2013
A contemporary, timeless and minimalistic interpretation of the traditional Slovenian shelter. A house that, despite its modern iconic shape, blends in and compliments the existing village architecture. The house is placed on a plateau that provides privacy, as well as an exceptional view upon the beautiful surrounding scenery. The elongated property, orientated south-west, drove the long and narrow layout of the house. The entire ground floor is designed as an open space.
