House Legen

Boštjan Debelak / 2017

This wooden home, which does not exceed the size of an average urban apartment, is located in natural surroundings on the edge of the city. The ceiling construction which penetrates the wall is an integral part of the roof. On two sides, the roof forms useful overhangs over the garden and the yard. The volume ratios and the overall design of the house evoke the intimate awareness of familiarity while maintaining the historical memory of the timeless and therefore non-trendy architecture. Fashion in architecture is only short-lived.
