Albina Kindlhofer / 2010
The renovation consisted of a thorough emptying of the interior, which resulted in a unified open space with the insertion of the smaller volumes, such as bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room was visually enlarged with a glass wall overlooking the atrium, creating the impression of a continuous space all the way to the garden fence. The original ceiling was too low, so the floor was lowered, the ceiling painted white and frameless windows installed in order to achieve an illusion of height.
