Hotel Park - Urban&Green

/ 2007

Urban beekeeping is gaining in popularity as a movement in Slovenia. Our cities offer an abundance of pesticide-free plants and trees in parks and gardens, enabling rich and healthy forage for the bees. The terrace of Hotel Park hosts four beehives for the third year, and they thrive on the highest spot in Ljubljana. They are a part of the hotel’s “green mission”. The specifics of urban beekeeping will be presented by Gorazd Trušnovec, an architect and the president of Urban beekeeping association.

Meeting point: at the main entrance.
