Situla Hostel
Bazaarhitektura d.o.o. / 2008
The legendary »Pri vodnjaku« restaurant on the ground floor, former apartments above the restaurant, and the neighbouring house around the corner have been merged together and converted into a youth hostel. Situla hostel is located in the Novo mesto old town, so the exterior had to remain unchanged, while the interior is functionally adapted to the needs of a youth hostel. One guest room after another leads the visitor through a maze of passages, staircases, and external corridors all the way to the cosy common dormitory in the attic. All the furniture and graphics have also been redesigned as a part of the renovation.
