Holiday home in Izola
Kubus arhitektura / 2017
The main task of the project was to combine two apartments on the third floor in two adjacent multi-apartment houses in the old town of Izola into one residential unit. The kitchen and dining room are connected with a new living room, dominated by a fireplace, with a wide passage through the stone wall between the houses. From the terrace, located in the roof, there are beautiful views of the historic city and across the Izola bay to Cape Ronek.
The small shelter has turned into a contemporary, cosy and comfortable holiday home by the sea.
