House K220

id: doma / 2011

The renovation of two homesteads at Križevci in the Goričko region entails two timber residential buildings dating back to the beginning of the 19th century and auxiliary buildings from different periods. Following the renovation, the various functions of the house are allocated to several buildings. The old stable was turned into the central building, i.e. the kitchen with a dining room area where all the paths from other buildings cross. The buildings were restored using traditional techniques and materials together with modern architectural interventions.
