The house sits on a narrow sloping plot between a forest on the southern side and a road on the northern side. The plot is shadowed by the trees, so the living quarters are located on the upper floor, which is better lit. The living room is situated above street level with an open view to the north. The house has an irregular cross section, with several steps separating the living room from the kitchen and the dining room. Above the dining table, a two-level gallery connects the living quarters with the bedrooms. The house is located in Šentvid pri Stični.
