Gostilna and Hotel Maribor

Finding a compromise between historical and modern approach was the main task. Architecture follows historical and cultural significance of the preserved building. To ensure enough natural light in the three attic apartments, mobile glass panels were used, covered in the red color of the existing roof bricks. Roof windows and loggias were moved to the inside of the roof volume in order to keep the street view historically intact and to obtain functional attics.
