The Franciscan monastery library in Ljubljana is used primarily by the members of the monastery and stores mostly theology books. The present building dates back to the post-eartquake reconstruction of the city. Its iron construction is covered in brick, while the bookshelves are made of wood. The ceiling is made of wooden planks with gravel on top. The central space of the library is divided between three floors.
