National Assembly of SLovenia
Vinko Glanz / 1959
The National Assembly of Slovenia is housed in a monumental freestanding building that interprets the classicist layout through modernist language. The architect of the National Assembly Vinko Glanz carefully chose materials and designed furnishings while paying great attention to details and building elements. The interior of the building follows the footsteps of Jože Plečnik and his approach to designing the space. The great assembly hall was renovated in 2000 by architects Sonja Miculinić, Darja Valič, and Albina Kindlhofer who got the commission through an architectural competition.
