Tree house
Atelje Ostan Pavlin / 2015
The tree house, made of fir wood from the site, is fixed between 6 existing trees and 4 columns. Its site specific geometry is composed in diverse overlapping constructive layers that spring from the compositional logic of the site/trees. The dynamic hexagonal star figure of the structure presents a union between conic volumes, that reach horizontally into the woods (observation of forest) and the central space with its skylight oculus, embedded vertically between heaven and earth.
