Centre of Urban Culture Kino Šiška

The Kino Šiška cinema was designed by architect Božidar Gvardijančič. Built in 1961, it was closed down in the 1990s. The building managed to preserve most of the original features of Gvardijančič’s design despite the interventions necessary to transform the existing facility into a multi-purpose cultural centre. The new design looked to provide a place that can host a variety of events and encourage creative use of the space.
