A SQUARE AND A PLAYGROUND UNDER THE CASTLE IN ŠKOFJA LOKA
Ravnikar Potokar arhitekturni biro / 2017
LOCATION: Poljanska cesta 2, Škofja Loka
The biggest change in the square layout was the abolition of parking which completely transformed the square. It serves as one of the Stations of the Cross during the Škofja Loka Passion play and it hosts the annual Ski Cup as well. It can easily become a venue for other events too.
The playground Zamorc is situated in the green surroundings of the medieval town centre of Škofja Loka, under the castle hill. The playground takes us to the magical world of the millennium-old story of a bishop, a bear, and a brave black servant.
