Aljaž Celarc, Eva Pavlič Seifert / 2022

House Mandrova is situated on an high karst plateau above Čabranka river in Novi Kot. The house was build in 1953 solely using wood and lime plaster. In 2019 Eva and Aljaž purchased the house and started the renovation themselves. They used wood fiber insulation, locally sourced wood and a combination of lime and clay plasters.

On their 1,2 ha of property Eva and Aljaž are combining their knowledge of regenerative agriculture, traditional woodworking and are building everything themselves. All local and for the future generations.
