Before you visit the Festival Open House Slovenia, read our 10 tips.
When the call for proposals is closed, a jury selects up to 100 buildings from across Slovenia, which are showcased on our homepage and open to visitors free of charge on the festival weekend. They are available all year round on our Slovenian architecture portal.
Selection of buildings
Plan your Open House weekend in advance. Review the program by region, by schedule, or according to your wishes. Use the search engines to search by type of building, construction material, region and time of visit.
The exact time of each tour will be posted on September 15th 2020. Please check the website for last minute timetable changes.
Registration is necessary for all tours and will be available on this website after the 15th of September. To enter a private home you will need a confirmation statement which will be sent to your email address after registering. If a building receives no registrations, the tour will not take place and a notice will be published on the website. Please write to firstname.lastname@example.org to report registration problems and cancellations.

are free of charge and are offered by architects, owners and managers, assisted by volunteers. The tours are conducted in Slovenian. English is available on request.
If you arrive by car please leave it on an appropriate parking spot. Open House Slovenia does not provide any parking spaces. We recommend using public transport or a bicycle, especially in the cities. If there is a crowd, please be patient. The tours are conducted by architects, owners and managers, assisted by volunteers. None of them are paid to participate in the festival.
