Livade 1.0

Dekleva Gregorič arhitekti / 2015
LOCATION: Livade 6, Izola

This is the first completed building of the comprehensive project of Livade university campus in Izola, which was awarded first prize at the public architecture competition organized by the University of Primorska in 2006. The campus functions as an autonomous urban tissue with its own rules, while establishing strong connections with the town’s Mediterranean context. Public spaces, such as library, canteen, gallery and dean’s offices, are located in the building by the main entrance. The campus consists of four basic parts: the main building, the new central network with offices and labs, the dormitories on Prešernova street, and the sports hall.
