Bicycle trail Bohinj

Atelje Ostan Pavlin / 2011

The Bohinj bicycle route is a careful intervention into a fragile landscape made with consideration for both natural and cultural heritage. It features rest stops and additional equipment whose forms and materials are drawn from local traditions. This is by all means a strategic project for Bohinj whose core offer consists of active tourism; it is also a model example of good practise for all future thematic bicycle routes in Slovenia.

The start is on the side of Bohinjska Bistrica (before Bohinjska Bistrica turn right just before the bridge over the river Sava, after cca 50m there is a atart). In case of rain, the guided tour will be cancled.
